Košice: Lung Cancer

In Košice, there were 796 deaths from lung cancer over the study period (2000 - 2008).  This figure consists of 593 male deaths and 203 female deaths and is based on data from the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic.  The spatial distribution of mortality due to lung cancer in Košice is demonstrated in the maps below, shown separately for men and women.  For further information about how these maps were created, please visit the methodological section of the Atlas.
