In Helsinki, there were 950 deaths
from haematopoietic cancer (cancers of the blood) over the study period (2000 -
2009). This figure consists of 430 male deaths and 520 female deaths and
is based on registry data provided by Statistics
Finland. The spatial distribution of mortality due to
haematopoietic cancer in Helsinki is demonstrated in the maps below, shown
