Budapest: Diabetes Mellitus

In Budapest, there were 3,653 deaths from diabetes mellitus over the study period (2001 - 2008).  This figure consists of 1,522 male deaths and 2,131 female deaths and is based on data from the Hungarian Central Statistical Office.  The spatial distribution of mortality due to diabetes mellitus in Budapest is demonstrated in the maps below, shown separately for men and women.  For further information about how these maps were created, please visit the methodological section of the Atlas.
