Brussels: Dementia

In Brussels, there were 768 deaths from dementia over the study period (2001 - 2004).  This figure consists of 199 male deaths and 569 female deaths and is based on death certificate records linked to Census data.  The spatial distribution of mortality due to dementia in Brussels is demonstrated in the maps below, shown separately for men and women.  For further information about how these maps were created, please visit the methodological section of the Atlas.
