Brussels: Colon Cancer

In Brussels, there were 623 deaths from colon cancer over the study period (2001 - 2004).  This figure consists of 260 male deaths and 363 female deaths and is based on death certificate records linked to Census data.  The spatial distribution of mortality due to colon cancer in Brussels is demonstrated in the maps below, shown separately for men and women.   For further information about how these maps were created, please visit the methodological section of the Atlas.
