Brussels: Chronic Liver Disease

In Brussels, there were 385 deaths from chronic liver disease over the study period (2001 - 2004).  This figure consists of 250 male deaths and 135 female deaths and is based on death certificate records linked to Census data.  The spatial distribution of mortality due to chronic liver disease in Brussels is demonstrated in the maps below, shown separately for men and women.  For further information about how these maps were created, please visit the methodological section of the Atlas.
