Brussels: Alzheimer's Disease

In Brussels, there were 422 deaths from Alzheimer's disease over the study period (2001 - 2004).  This figure consists of 116 male deaths and 306 female deaths and is based on death certificate records linked to Census data.  The spatial distribution of mortality due to Alzheimer's disease in Brussels is demonstrated in the maps below, shown separately for men and women.  For further information about how these maps were created, please visit the methodological section of the Atlas.
