In Amsterdam, there were 1,129 deaths
from pancreatic cancer over the study period (1996 - 2008). This figure
consists of 519 male deaths and 610 female deaths and is based on data from the
Centraal Bureau voor de Statistiek (Statistics Netherlands). The spatial
distribution of mortality due to pancreatic cancer in Amsterdam is demonstrated
