In Amsterdam, there were 457 deaths
from kidney cancer over the study period (1996 - 2008). This figure
consists of 263 male deaths and 194 female deaths and is based on data from the
Centraal Bureau voor de Statistiek (Statistics Netherlands). The spatial
distribution of mortality due to kidney cancer in Amsterdam is demonstrated in
