The UCL Centre for Inclusive Education started life as SENJIT in 1990.
Our mission is to develop and support the implementation of evidence-informed inclusive practice in education.
We do this in three ways, by:
1) Integrating research and education as underpinning the student experience.
2) Addressing challenges in the education of children and young people with SEND and other potentially vulnerable groups through our knowledge mobilisation and exchange programmes, research, networks and partnerships.
3) Extending impact globally through a network of international activities, collaborations and partnerships.
