Professor Arne Akbar named BSI President-elect

Following a call for nominations for upcoming vacancies on the British Society for Immunology (BSI) Board of Trustees and Forum, Professor Arne Akbar, will join the BSI as President.
The BSI is one of the oldest immunology societies in the world and the largest in Europe. The Society's objective is to promote excellence in research, scholarship and clinical practice in immunology in order to improve human and animal health.
Professor Akbar will commence his term of office at the 2018 BSI AGM, which is due to take place at the end of the year.
