Research summary
Dr Mark Harber is a consultant nephrologist with a specialist interest in transplantation.
He has research interests in the immune system, infectious diseases and transplantation, urinary tract infection and acute kidney injury.
Dr Harber's research interests also include monitoring the immune system for over and under immunosuppression, prevention of ischaemia reperfusion injury and infectious diseases such as cytomegalovirus and urinary tract infection.
Dr Harber also has an interest in supporting teaching and service development in developing countries including Malawi and Myanmar.
