Kampling

Prof. Dr. Rainer Kampling studied Catholic theology, Latin Philology and Judaic Studies at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster.  He completed his doctorate in 1983. After serving as a visiting professor of New Testament in Saarbrücken, he has been Professor of Biblical Theology / New Testament at the Department of Catholic Theology at the Free University Berlin since 1992. Under his leadership, the Ernst-Ludwig Ehrlich Masters Course was implemented in 2008 and the study of the history, theory and practice of Jewish-Christian relationships established.



Lecture 6.30pm, J.Z. Young lecture theatre, UCL Anatomy Building, Gower Street, London WC1E 6BT (just south of the main entrance)

Preceded by a drinks reception in the Gavin de Beer room, opposite the lecture theatre, from 5.45pm
