Helen Hopkins

Research & Programme Development Manager and UCL Grand Challenge of Global Health Coordinator

Helen joined the Institute for Global Health (IGH)  in November 2011 and has joint responsibility as the IGH research manager and for coordinating the work of the Grand Challenge for Global Health   She has a BA Hons in Economics & Geography from the University of Sheffield and an MSc in Development Studies from LSE.   Previously she has worked on health education programmes in central and south America and for a UK NGO.  Prior to joining UCL she worked for four years in the research department at the Royal College of Paediatrics managing a number of epidemiology projects .
