Variation in markers & measures of diagnostic intervals

Identifying and describing patterns of variation in diagnostic intervals, by patient characteristic, cancer diagnosis and presenting symptoms can be informative for the design and delivery of public health interventions and healthcare services. 

This research is funded by a Cancer Research UK Advanced Clinician Scientist Fellowship awarded to Professor Yoryos Lyratzopoulos (2015-2020), the BMA TP Gunton grant awarded to Dr Cristina Renzi (2016-2018), and the Department of Health Policy Research Unit in Cancer Awareness, Screening and Early Diagnosis studentship awarded to Monica Koo (2015-2018).
