Lung cancer screening: attitudes, sociodemographic factors and informed uptake

The aims of this research were to understand sociodemographic and smoker-specific factors determining screening uptake to find out how best to increase this while ensuring participants are fully informed about the benefits and risks.

This project is complete and was funded by a three year Medical Research Council PhD Studentship awarded to Dr Samantha Quaife (September 2013- September 2016).
