Research at the forefront of Cognitive Neuroscience will be presented in an entertaining and accessible manner and there will be a golden opportunity at the end of each 15-minute talk for you to engage with the speakers. We will end the day with a panel discussion featuring experts from across the field!
Each section of the day will look at our changing brains at different stages and under various conditions.

  • Block 1: The transition from childhood to adulthood
  • Block 2: The effect of health and disease on the brain
  • Block 3:  Using technology to improve our lives

Our speakers will be joining us from world leading institutions including UCL, Birkbeck College and the University of Cambridge. Their topics will include, amongst others, research into the adolescent brain, the brain-basis of depression, ageing, and neural prostheses.  For a full list of speakers visit the conference website.
Based on the sold-out event Mind the Brain 2016, we anticipate some fascinating conversations, take home insights, and the opportunity to ask the scientists your burning questions!
