Sample size estimation and power calculations

24th Nov, 2017: This one day course gives the basics of sample size estimation. It will be of use to those embarking on a research project and who are perhaps trying to complete ethics and grant application forms. Both precision and power estimation approaches are covered.

Paediatric ECG course

25 November 2017
This course  is designed to cover all areas of performing and interpreting ECGs in the paediatric population.  As well as identifying differences between the normal adult ECG and the normal paediatric ECG, there will also be insight into what to expect to find on ECGs in patients with congenital heart disease, inherited cardiovascular conditions, and post-surgical intervention.  Expert speakers will be a combination of physiologists, cardiac morphologists and cardiologists.  

Introduction to Bayesian Analysis

28th Nov, 2017: This one day course focuses on the principles of Bayesian analysis with the aim to enable participants to apply Bayesian methods on their own research and understand other people’s results via Bayesian analysis.
