Intelligent optical network design | Optimizing network capacity | Machine learning assisted networking
Ruijie Luo received his PhD degree from Tsinghua University, China, in 2019 for his works in synchronized control mechanism for optical networks and its applications.
After graduation, he kept on his research in Tsinghua University aiming on improving optical network dynamics by reducing lightpath setup latencies.
Ruijie joined the Optical Networks Group at UCL as a Research Fellow in December 2019 to work on the EPSRC TRANSNET project. He is currently developing intelligent optical network architectures and seeking the general rules of network capacity, latency etc. under the nonlinear fibre optic regimes.
