UCL's Oxford International IP Moot team is named

UCL Laws students April Wells, Victoria Browell and Nina Anna Kapalková (pictured left to right) have been selcted for the UCL Moot team to compete at the prestigious Oxford International Intellectual Property (IP) Law Moot.

We are delighted to announce the UCL Laws' students that have been selected to represent UCL at this year's prestigious Oxford Intellectual Property Moot Competition. The UCL team for 2024 comprises: 

  • April Wells
  • Victoria Browell
  • Nina Anna Kapalková.

We extend hearty congratulations to April, Victoria and Nina Anna on their selection amongst fierce competion from fellow students. Their applications all demonstrated a history of academic achievement, exemplary dedication to mooting, as well as great enthusiam for intellectual property law. IBIL is pleased to support such capable and interested students.

All team members are currently studying intellectual property law at UCL Laws: Victoria and April are postgraduate students studying on the LLM programme, while Nina is an undergraduate student. The UCL team is being coached by Professor Sir Robin Jacob (Director of IBIL), Josh Bradley (an IBIL Scholarship PhD researcher) and Athina Stavrou (Research Assistant at IBIL). 

The UCL team will now compete on an international platform alongside leading law institutions from around the world. We extend our best wishes for success to Victoria, Nina, and April as they prepare to submit their written submissions in mid-December!
