Background
Rajwant K. Bains

Rajwant brings over 30 years’ experience in leadership development, management development, equity and inclusion, leading major organisational change programmes as well as a systemic team coaching lens to all aspects of her work.

Rajwant had a successful career in academia during which she was Course Director and member of the Race and Social Policy Unit at University of Liverpool. The pioneering work in the Unit on racial justice means equity, diversity and inclusion are embedded and integrated in all aspects of her leadership development work.

From the University of Liverpool Rajwant moved to senior leadership roles in local government. This led to her undertaking the MSc in Executive Coaching and Behaviour Change at Henley Business School. As part of this she was awarded the prize for her outstanding research into developing coaching Programmes to secure progression of women to Partner level in one of the top 4 leading Professional Services firms.

Rajwant’s ability to inspire and engage people - providing the right mix of support and challenge to facilitate their own best thinking has been highly commended by clients. They comment positively about her approach – describing it as creative, intelligent and insightful with an emphasis on delivering results – at both individual and organisational levels.
