Open now: Career Development Programmes for Early Career Research and Technical staff

Spaces are available on two career development programmes for early career researchers (ECR) and technical staff, taking place across the summer term. Both programmes are aligned to the Research Culture Roadmap and are designed to support colleagues in identifying the career opportunities available to them and equip them with the guidance and confidence to make their next career step. 

ECR Career Aspiration Programme:

UCL Human Resources has launched a new programme to support ECRs in their career development. It aims to provide direction, guidance and motivation for ECRs to develop a personal strategy towards their career goals, better equipping ECRs for their career next steps.  

Deadline for applications is Monday 28 April.

ECR Research Culture Career Accelerator Programme:

Following on from the successful pilot in 2024, UCL Research Culture will be delivering a further two cohorts of the Research Culture Career Accelerator for 2025. This programme offers women ECRs and women technical staff specialised career planning designed to increase career fulfilment and support positive career moves.  

Applications will close, close of business (COB) Friday 2 May.
