UCL achieves national accreditation for our occupational health service
6 September 2019
Following a year-long, rigorous audit, the Occupational Health and Wellbeing team is proud to announce that we have once again achieved the national audit and accreditation standard for occupational health services for another five years.
"Each year we work with over 3,000 students and 3,000 members of staff, maintaining a high standard of service delivery is absolutely essential.” Andrew Meredith, Head of Occupational Heal
The SEQOHS (Safe, Effective, Quality Occupational Health Service) accreditation is recognised as the gold standard in occupational health service provision. To achieve the accreditation everything that has an impact in providing a high standard occupational health service is reviewed – from ensuring staff are appropriately trained and qualified to having the right level of sound proofing on our doors. The application process has involved a day-long site visit and inspection together with a thorough review of our standards to confirm that our service complies.“
"We are thrilled to have passed our accreditation again for the second time. We have all worked very hard putting together all the evidence required, reviewing policies and processes and auditing. I’m really very proud of everything we have achieved" Max Hill, Director of Occupational Health and Wellbeing
