UCL HR has updated the UCL Leave Policy with new guidance around time off for public duties and updated information on taking special leave.

This new policy,  based on current entitlements for UCL staff, sets out to make it clear how time off for public duties will be managed, what your entitlements are and how requests for time-off will be dealt with.

Special Leave Policy (previously known as time-off for personal and domestic reasons)

We’ve made some minor tweaks to how this policy looks in terms of accessibility and the removal of  some other policy sections which are already separately listed and we’ve made a few changes to section 9 – Time-off for personal development and training including guidance on a full range of examples of self-managed learning opportunities
