Call for volunteers: Dignity at Work Advisors
28 June 2018
UCL's Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Office is looking for volunteers to become Dignity at Work Advisors.
The role involves providing informal advice and support to staff experiencing bullying, harassment or sexual misconduct. The network of advisors has been established at UCL for over fifteen years. It has been invaluable in creating a confidential space for staff to explore workplace dynamics and as a means of supporting staff in resolving difficult situations informally and promptly.
The role is a valued ‘institutional citizenship’ role that can be recognised in promotion. The Advisors receive full training and mentoring in their role.
We particularly welcome applications from men and from staff in academic and research roles, as they have been underrepresented in the network.
The closing date for applications is Thursday 19th July and should be emailed to email@example.com.
Successful applicants will be invited to attend a formal selection process.
If you have any queries about the role, please contact Kelsey Paske: firstname.lastname@example.org
