Staff Survey Update

An update on our charitable donations, the prize draw and details of the forthcoming Town Hall meeting.

I am pleased to announce that Claire Phillips from the IOE was the winner of the individual prize draw from the staff survey. Claire has received her iPad and commented “….it’s like voting, if you don’t take part then you’re never gonna win”!

In addition £35,105 will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support (£16,260), World Animal Protection (£4,835), UCL Student Hardship Fund (£11,205) and Sense (£2,805). Staff feedback is really important and we remain committed to acting on what you said, so thank you to all who took the time to participate.


What happens next?

The Staff Survey 2017 recorded the highest ever response rate with 60% of eligible staff completing the survey. All responses remain anonymous. ORC International, our partner organisation, are analysing the responses and pulling together UCL-wide and faculty/division reports. The university will take action based on the feedback and in line with our commitment to staff, highlight results will be presented to the Senior Management Team (SMT) on 24 January 2018. The Provost, Professor Michael Arthur, and Staff Survey Sponsor, Professor Nigel Titchener-Hooker, will share the overall highlights and key themes at an all staff Town Hall meeting on 13 February 2018 between 10.30-11.30am in Darwin B40. All staff are welcome to attend - please register your attendance on Eventbrite

Local results will be shared with staff w/c 19 February 2018 and faculties & departments will arrange meetings to review the results and agree action plans. Staff are encouraged to participate in these discussions which will inform local action plans.
