Information on support available for UCL's EU staff.
We know that our EU staff make a valuable contribution to the work of UCL and have committed to doing all we can to support staff as the Brexit negotiations continue. Please refer to our Immigration Clinic FAQs which have been recently updated with more practical advice and immigration information for staff.
We are continuing to offer an interest free immigration loan for staff who wish to obtain immigration law advice or make certain immigration applications. Find out more about our immigration loans.
Statements and updates
- On Friday 8 December, the government published a Joint Report with welcome clarification that the rights of EU citizens and their families will be protected when the UK leaves the EU.
- The Home Secretary confirms the Agreement reached during Phase 1 of the negotiations in an open letter to EU citizens in the UK.
- The Russell Group has published a briefing note on Phase 1 of the Brexit negotiations.
- The Universities UK website is also regularly updated to include the latest information on the UK’s withdrawal from the EU.
