The launch of the new Funding for Staff Learning and Development policy

Following feedback asking for greater clarity and transparent processes for employees who wish to undertake external training, the Human Resources Employment Policy team is pleased to share with staff the UCL Funding for Staff Learning and Development policy. This policy becomes effective from 1 May 2018.

UCL remains dedicated to supporting staff learning and development and the process for considering financial assistance towards staff training is not new. We have combined current processes into a policy document to ensure consistent practices across the university. The document also provides easy access for staff and managers who need to access the information.

The new policy applies to all UCL employees.
