Non-Consultant Clinical Academic Pay Scale

For staff required to be clinically qualified but don't fulfil the criteria for appointment to the Consultant Clinical Academic Payscale and who aren't a resident doctor undertaking specialty training

Effective 1 April 2025

London allowance is payable to those working in London, and in spaces immediately bordering London, such as Dorking and Wickford at the following rates:

• £5,197 per annum (points 1 to 5) with effect from 1 August 2025.
• £4,678 per annum (points 6 onwards) with effect from 1 August 2025.

Clinical Status: non-consultant not training.

Dentists

Dental Lecturers will be paid on the CLIN ACAD scale below. The CLIN ACAD scale below is only applicable to current Dentists and to staff appointed prior to 01/05/2008

• £4,678 per annum (points 6 onwards) with effect from 1 August 2025.
