This toolkit is designed to help you manage the process of change which we are all experiencing at University College London (UCL). Change affects us all in different ways, and can be different for different people. This toolkit can be particularly useful to individuals and managers when the UCL 'Organisational Change Procedure' is being applied or utilised, see www.ucl.ac.uk/hr/docs/organisational_change.php.
The toolkit provides a series of tools, theories and exercises to help you work through the changes you are experiencing, and hopefully to gain some further insight into your own perception of change, along with the opportunities and threats that change presents. Some of this toolkit is written for general information. Some of it requires you to think hard about your values and priorities. As such, it is intended to be a personal document, and yours to complete as you see fit, and with results that are your own.
It is designed as a means to help you understand, lead and manage change more effectively for you and your colleagues at UCL and to help you and your teams to work through whatever change you may be indirectly or directly involved in.
