Please note that between  12th – 17th October 2015 the Occupational Health Service will be operating with a reduced service whilst we update our local OH database. Once updated, the new system will allow us to greatly improve our processes and the accessibility of health records, reporting data and will eventually allow us to streamline current processes that currently require form filling and report generation (we will advise you again when these aspects ‘go live’ and plan to go out to departments to advise of changes in the process at that time).

During this period, we will not be able to offer our regular vaccination clinics or health surveillance clinics. A reduced number of management referral appointments and the physiotherapy service will still be available whilst staff undertake training, and members of the OH team will of course be available to answer queries as usual via email or telephone.

We will also still be able to see any staff or students who have developed any symptoms of allergy and undertake assessment. The Employee Assistance Programme provision via Care first is unaffected.

Should you have any questions or concerns regarding this, please do not hesitate to contact either Max Hill, Interim Head of Occupational Health Services or Alison Kenyon, OHS Practice Manager.

seqohsUCL Occupational Health Service (OHS) has recently achieved accreditation as a Safe, Effective, Quality Occupational Health Services (SEQOHS). We are the first Russell Group University Occupational Health Service in England to achieve accreditation and the fourth university in the UK.The scheme has become a nationally recognised standard for occupational health practice in both the private and public sector. It is run by the Royal College of Physicians on behalf of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine to provide independent assessment and validation of occupational health service quality.  UCL OHS undertook a rigorous independent assessment and quality assurance process and the team are proud to have demonstrated that UCL OHS met the required standards. Further information about the scheme can be found here
