Ryan Low

Ryan graduated from Princeton University in 2016, where his research focused on the legal and administrative histories of Parisian ecclesiastical institutions. His current project at UCL explores the life and works of Bernard Gui, an infamous fourteenth-century Dominican inquisitor from Southern France. Ryan's studies attempt to understand how religious institutions navigated the delicate political landscapes of high medieval Europe. He is currently pursuing this research in London with the support of a Marshall Scholarship and Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowship.
