I manage the Professional Services team in History and am responsible for the provision of administrative support in the department. I work with the Head of Department on matters relating to human resources and finance.

Misha Enayat: Administrative Assistant and Receptionist

I am the first point of call for all student and staff enquiries. I support the work of the Taught Programmes Manager and team. I also work with the Departmental Manager on finance matters and processing expenses claims for colleagues and visitors; and escalate any building maintenance-related matters to Estates. Furthermore, I assist with travel arrangements for colleagues' events and research trips.

Jessica Hindes: Research Support and Communications Officer

Jessica Hindes

My role has four elements: I am responsible for all communications within the department including mailouts, printed publicity, social media and the website; I provide administrative support for departmental events, and for the Events Committee; I work with the Graduate Tutor to support the department's PGR students; and I work with the Director of Research to create a positive research environment and to record and augment the impact of departmental research.

Kitty Ho: Study Abroad and Quality Assurance Administrator

My key responsibilities relate to Study Abroad and Quality Assurance issues. I manage the process for incoming and outgoing Study Abroad students (affiliate and Erasmus ) and am responsible for the departmental returns for the Student Load Exercise and KIS data. I am secretary to the Departmental Consultative Teaching Committee and SSCC. I coordinate the annual update for the departmental calendar.

Sarah Jenyon: Programmes Administrator

Sarah Jenyon

My key responsibilities relate to the teaching programmes: teaching plan, module allocation and the timetable for both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. I oversee Moodle pages for our modules.

Ben Karniely: Programmes and Admissions Administrator

Ben Karniely

I handle all aspects of admissions for the department (to the BA, MA and PGR programmes) including departmental Open Days. I also work with the Taught Programmes Manager on attendance monitoring, and support the Examinations Liaison Officer on all examination-related activities.

Sanjay Priyadarshi: IT Support Officer - Social and Historical Sciences

Sanjay Priyadarshi

I am responsible for engaging in a wide range of IT services to support students, research, teaching and administration in the Department of History and SHS. I maintain and resolve IT issues and develop a more enhanced, efficient service for a diverse range of users.

Sladana Radanovic: Programmes Administrator (Assessments)

I work on all aspects of examinations and assessments. My key responsibilities are the provision of support to the Chairs of the Boards of Examiners (BA and MA); ensuring students are correctly registered on Portico for examinations and assessments; mark entry on Portico; liaison with external examiners; co-ordination of the Late Summer Assessment period.

Michele Vermeulen: Taught Programmes Manager

I manage the administration for all taught History programmes, overseeing all aspects (undergraduate and taught graduate) as part of a job share with Marlene Cullen (currently on leave). I am the intercollegiate liaison for the department. My post line-manages the Programmes Administrator (Sarah Jenyon), and I work with her on the following areas: teaching timetable (ug and pg); induction for ug and pg; module choices and registration process; Moodle; intercollegiate and interdepartmental liaison; web-pages for current undergraduates; student records; and Personal Tutor allocation.
