UCL Careers offers a number of training programmes and events that may be of use to History students.
Employer-led Panel Discussions: Hear what up to five different employers think about specific skills and what you need to do to make yourself stand out throughout the selection process. You'll also get top tips on what you can do to improve your skills and then a chance to directly ask questions important to you.
Employer-led Workshops: Practice a particular skill under the guidance and expertise of the employer facilitators.
Employer-led Coaching: we give one-to-one coaching on writing CVs and applications, improving interview techniques, and how to tackle Practice Assessment Centres.
Practice Assessment Centres: try out some exercises typical of the Assessment Centres run by companies. During the session, you will complete an in-tray exercise, a group exercise, and a presentation. You will receive feedback on your performance in each area. You will also have the chance to network with graduate recruiters taking part in the event.
