Professor Peter Clarke FBA, University of Cambridge, is a former Master of Trinity Hall, Cambridge.  He began his academic career as a Lecturer at UCL, and is one of the leading historians of modern Britain. He is the author of more than ten books including the best-selling 'Hope and Glory: Britain, 1900-2000'.

This free public lecture, which runs from 6.00pm to 7.00pm, is being held in memory of Professor James Henderson Burns (1921-2012) and will be followed by a drinks reception in the Wilkins North Cloisters.  Further details...
