HJS awarded the Green Impact Silver Award
4 August 2022
Our Green Impact team were awarded for their sustainability initiatives in the awards ceremony held in July, showing how staff are making a positive environmental impact in the faculty.
Green Impact is a UCL-wide environmental competition and accreditation scheme that allows departments and divisions across the university to improve their environmental impact, support UCL's Sustainability Strategy and engage peers and colleagues with these essential issues.
Hebrew and Jewish Studies earned the Silver Award for the first time thanks to the efforts of our Green Champion Casey MacKenzie Johnson. This award highlights our department-wide commitment to active sustainability and lowering our carbon footprint.
