27 January is observed as Holocaust Memorial Day, an international day to remember the six million Jews murdered in the Holocaust, the millions of other people killed under Nazi persecution of other groups, and in genocides that followed in Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia and Darfur.
Members of the UCL community are welcome to join the Department of Hebrew and Jewish Studies in marking Holocaust Memorial Day. This short act of commemoration will include readings on the theme for Holocaust Memorial Day 2022, "One Day", read by UCL students.
