We are pleased to announce the Ada Rapoport-Albert Seminar Series on Hasidic Yiddish Discussion Weekend, which will take place from Thursday 11 to Monday 15 March 2021.

The Discussion Weekend will launch at noon (GMT) on Thursday 11 March. At this time you will be able to watch an introductory video from the Contemporary Hasidic Yiddish group, which will discuss our project and outline the talks that have so far taken place in the Seminar Series. Recordings of the talks will also become available at this time. The introductory video and the seminar recordings will be available throughout the weekend, until 23:59 (GMT) on Monday 15 March, so you can watch them at your leisure.

At 17:00 (GMT) on Sunday 14 March and Monday 15 March, the seminar speakers and members of the Contemporary Hasidic Yiddish group will take part in two live panel discussions on Zoom. The panel discussions will include a Q&A session where audience members will be welcome to ask questions arising from the discussion or from the seminars themselves.

The introductory video and seminar recordings will be made available on our website, and Zoom links for the panel discussions will be sent out shortly before the event to those who have registered on Eventbrite.
