HDRUK Black Internship Programme: Tomisin

HDRUK's Black Internship Programme is a way for Black students to become familiar with an academic setting and gain experience in a field that isn’t very open to Black students. Over 8 weeks, we helped host Tomisin Akande with Dr. Diana Oliviera, Research Fellow at the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Tomisin spent her time looking at data sets affecting Black pregnant women. She explains what she's been up to in the video below.
