The devices are being used in over 130 NHS hospitals and the designs are freely available for international use. Several teams across the globe have obtained regulatory approval to use make and use the devices in their own countries, including Australia, the Philippines, India and Pakistan.

The winners will be announced at a virtual ceremony on 21 March 2021. All the finalists are invited to give a presentation to the judging panel, who will make their final decision.
