Want to inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers?

13 May 2019

We are looking for researchers who would like to host a student for the in2science scheme.

Researcher

In2science is an award-winning charity that supports 16 to 17-year-old students from disadvantaged backgrounds progress to STEM careers. Students from low-income backgrounds face major barriers when pursuing science, including a lack of experiences outside of school and understanding of the university process.

During a two-week placement over summer, students will work alongside you in your lab. You can share your passion and knowledge with a young person, who then gets hands-on experience in a research setting. A day usually starts at 10.30 am and finishes at 4 pm. You choose the start date (any time between July 29 and August 30).

Find out more on the in2science website.

If you are interested in taking part, please get in touch with healthcare-eng@ucl.ac.uk.
