9.45-10.00 Virtual networking breakfast: grab a bowl of cereal and a cup of tea and get to know your fellow attendees! Snap a picture of your breakfast and you could win a Mindful Chef recipe box.

10.15-11.00: Talks on our research priority areas

- Healthy ageing with Professor Nadia Berthouze (Professor in Affective Computing and Interaction, UCL Interaction Centre)

- Community care with Dr Henry Goodfellow (GP and NIHR Clinical Lecturer, UCL Institute of Epidemiology and Health Care)

- Affordable healthcare technology

- Diagnostics and timely interventions with Dr Joseph Jacob (Consultant Radiologist at UCLH, Principal Research Fellow at UCL Centre for Medical Image Computing)

11.05-11.45 Panel discussion “what’s it like when the world isn’t designed for you?”: join our panellists for an exploration of design barriers to health, and how healthcare engineers can design tools and environments for everyone.

11.45 - 12.00 Chair yoga with Aspire Leisure Centre, the first fully-accessible leisure centre in Europe

Lunchtime and virtual networking session

1.00-2.00 Early-Career Researcher 5-minute presentation competition: we invite abstracts from UCL early-career researchers on any healthcare engineering or digital health topic.

Our judging panel will award prizes to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. There's also be a prize for 'audience pick'. More details coming soon!

Please send a 100-200 word abstract to healthcare-eng@ucl.ac.uk by 14 October.

Eight people will be shortlisted to speak on the day.
