Hosted by the UCL Centre for Nerve Engineering and supported by the Tissue and Cell Engineering Society and UCL Institute of Healthcare Engineering, this meeting will bring together the UK community in nervous system engineering to promote interdisciplinary collaboration between academic, clinical and industry researchers.
In the morning, there will be short talks on clinical themes and nerve engineering approaches from the research community. This will be followed by a lunchtime Early-Career Researcher poster session.
In the afternoon, we will host an open discussion around opportunities for collaboration and taking forward new projects, as well as an application for an EPSRC Network Grant to support the nerve engineering network moving forwards.
Abstracts for posters and presentations are now being welcomed for submission. Please submit 200 word abstracts via email to cne@ucl.ac.uk. Deadline: Monday 22 October.
09:30 – 10:00 Welcome and refreshments
10:00 – 12:00 Short talks to provide an overview of the UK nerve engineering research landscape and understand the clinical need.
