Kick-Off Meeting
31 May 2024
Our project kick off meeting on 30th April, was the first opportunity for the full research team to come to come together in person, providing a chance to get to know each other, align on our ambitions for the unit, and agree ways of working.

The National Institute of Health and Care Research (NIHR) Policy Research Unit in Reproductive Health (RH-PRU), which aims to provide high-quality research evidence to inform reproductive health policy, held its kick-off meeting on 30th April at UCL.
The meeting was attended by team members from UCL, University of Birmingham, University of Oxford, University of Warwick, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, Co-Production Collective, Hywel Dda and experts by experience.
This was the first opportunity for the full team to come together in person, providing a chance to get to know each other, align on our ambitions for the unit, and agree ways of working.
Discussions covered the principles of co-production; updates on ongoing research projects and responsive work; and developing our approach to working together, both within smaller teams and across the unit.
This laid the foundation for our approach to future work, ensuring a cohesive approach towards achieving the unit's objectives. The day was thoroughly enjoyable, and the team looks forward to meeting again (in person) at the University of Warwick, towards the end of the year.
