Health of the Public Early Career Researcher Seminar Series: AI in Health
A seminar series for early career researchers across UCL to showcase health research across multiple disciplines.
About the seminar series:
The UCL Health of the Public Early Careers Network is launching a seminar series for early career researchers across UCL. These in-person seminars will be once a term and themed around a topic related to health of the public that is commonly worked on across multiple disciplines.
Inaugural seminar: AI in Health
Come along to the inaugural seminar on the theme of AI in Health. We have two exciting research presentations from UCL researchers:
- Research talk 1: Beyond the Algorithm: Understanding Human Factors in AI for Healthcare – Dr Susanne Gaube
- Research talk 2: AI Safety and Cybersecurity in Healthcare: Emerging risks for patients and policy makers – Dr Isabel Straw
In the final 30 minutes of the session, we will provide refreshments and encourage networking between seminar attendees. You’ll have a chance to meet other UCL early career researchers who are also interested in AI in Health, hopefully making useful new connections with the potential for future collaboration.
The seminar will be held in 90 High Holborn – instructions on how to access this UCL space will be sent to all attendees in the week of the event.
