Delivering and managing increasingly complex healthcare systems poses major challenges for managers, governments, clinicians and the general public.
This module addresses the big question of “how can we improve healthcare?” It examines what is meant by healthcare quality and considers the relationship between quality, evidence and regulation.
Students have the opportunity to develop skills in information retrieval and critical appraisal. Consideration is also given to how to formulate strategies for getting evidence into practice.
