A new vacancy has arisen within the Department of Clinical Epidemiology, UCL Institute of Health Informatics

  • Grade 7
  • Hours. Part Time
  • Hours per week (%FTE). 18.25 hours per week (50% FTE)
  • Salary (incl. of London allowance): £34,056 - £41,163 per annum
  • Salary pro-rata for part time vacancies

Duties and Responsibilities

The Research Associate will play an essential role in the conduction and editorial process of new systematic reviews on interventions for cardiovascular disorders. Cochrane has rigorous methodology and standards for the conduct and reporting of systematic reviews. The Research Associate will be required, as part of the editorial team, to undertake editorial checks and to support authors to meet these standards. 

The post is available immediately until 31 March 2018 in the first instance.

Key Requirements

A post-graduate degree in a relevant discipline, experience of systematic review methods and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Interest in the field of cardiovascular disease. Knowledge of Cochrane systematic review methodology would be an advantage. PhD in relevant discipline or substantial related research experience.
