Network Support Fellow - Ref:1721002

Grade 7, Full Time

Salary (inclusive of London allowance): £34,635 - £41,864 per annum

Duties and Responsibilities

This job is funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) to work with the new Networks of Cochrane Review Groups (CRGs). Network Support Fellows will work in support of the general aims and objectives of the CRG Transformation Plan, but with a particular focus on ensuring that the Networks are positioned to provide maximum support for the NHS. Each Network Support Fellow will have an individual work plan that includes specific objectives that are customized around the network’s development priorities.

Key Requirements

The candidate should have proven experience on evidence synthesis research including: conduction of systematic reviews, deep understanding on methods (statistical and grading of quality of evidence) for systematic reviews. It is expected the candidate to have track record of being involve with Cochrane activities. Examples of those are: conduction of reviews, member of the editorial team of a review group,  or a relevant cochrane committee (e.g.  methods or complex reviews).

This position is open to anyone who meets the requirements described above. This is a 20-month pilot programme.

We are willing to consider part-time and job-share applications that describe how the functions will be divided, and how continuity will be achieved. We also welcome applications from candidates wishing to undertake this role as a part-time secondment from their employer.
