Date: 23 June 2017, 10am-12pm

Venue: Room G01, Farr Institute of Health Informatics Research, 222 Euston Road, London NW1 2DA

Following the recent successful launch of CALIBER where we showcased examples of research using billions of ‘research ready’ coded variables from health records available in the CALIBER programme, we are pleased to invite you to attend a seminar where we will describe the processes required to access linked data for research. This seminar, run jointly by the UCL Institute of Health Informatics and the Clinical Practice Research Datalink (CPRD), will address opportunities for using linked CPRD data in research, and provide an overview of the ISAC, how to apply to use CPRD linked data and the ISAC review process. The seminar will be particularly useful to those UCL researchers who are planning on submitting an ISAC application in the near future.

Registration is via Eventbright: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/applying-for-independent-scientific-advisory-committee-approval-for-research-tickets-34716681529
