Recently, we developed a new blended learning module in Public Health Data Science. This module aims to give students an introduction to the core themes of public health and how data science can be used to support public health action, including:
- Public health data science applied to improving the health of populations
- Public health data science applied to improving health services
- Public health data science applied to protecting the population from health harms, such as outbreaks of disease and pollution
- Epidemiology and biostatistics applied to public health data science
- Tools for public health data science
- Visualising and mapping health data
